Sinister's Tale of Evil
Sinister and The Mansion of Lost Souls
Deep within a wooded countryside lies a plot of land so evil, some say there is a cave that leads straight to Hell. Many stories have
been told about a man named Sinister Dreadford, a man so mean that even the Devil himself was afraid of him.
Sinister Dreadford began life in a small town, born to a poverty stricken couple who did not wish to have children. From a very
early age, Sinister was left on his own to fend for himself. Though his parents provided the family with what they could, they
resented Sinister and one day left their son alone for good. Sinister did everything he could to survive on his own. When begging
only brought sneers and whispers from the prominent townspeople, he began to steal, and even kill, for his survival.
Because the townspeople were aware of his every move, Sinister was banished into the deep woods where he embraced the
solace of his dark surroundings and the evil that gripped his very being. It was well known that the land had been tainted for
hundreds of years - Evil lurked in the crevices of the trees. Rumor had it that the land had been used over the years for torture,
sacrifices, dark rituals... True or not, Sinister embraced the darkness around him and vowed that if he survived to be a wealthy
man one day, he would repay the forces of evil with his very being, which is, indeed, precisely what occurred.
Sinister did survive and grew up to travel back to the tiny town that banished him years prior. He was now a very wealthy man;
however, no one quite knew where or how he accumulated all his wealth. The wicked forces had been very generous to Sinister,
and he kept his promise to them. He took all of the businesses in the small town and handed them over to the undesirables in the
underworld. The very townspeople who had so abruptly banished him into the woods were forced out of their beloved homes and
into the dark wooded land where many were never seen nor heard from again.
Sinister reaped the benefits of his destruction and built an enormous mansion on the very land that had accepted him when no
one else would. The mansion was eloquent and built with the best materials and furnishings money could buy. But, within its
decorative interiors, a malevolent presence sent chills through all who dared to enter the exclusive mansion uninvited. You see,
Sinister's only guests were those who were as twisted and wicked as he, so anyone who dared to venture into the great mansion
were surrounded by evil and despair that comforted Sinister and his band of mischievous friends. Over the years, many uninvited
guests have explored Sinister's mansion, and while most have made it out to tell their tales, they were never the same again.
Legend has it that while their physical bodies made it out, their souls remained in the mansion for eternity.
No one knows exactly what became of Sinister Dreadford. Some say that the evil spirits with whom he made his vows were ready to
take his soul back to Hell when he mysteriously burst into flames and disappeared one Halloween night. There is no doubt that
Sinister still resides in the mansion, which mysteriously appears in various locations around Halloween each year. Many continue
to explore the Mansion, and even though they may leave, their souls remain trapped in the Mansion Of Lost Souls forever.
